On Thursday September 10,2026 at approximately 1:23 P.M. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Mitchell, NE which has affected the main track. Mitchell, NE is approximately 10 miles northwest of Scottsbluff, NE. BNSF field personnel responded to assess the derailment site. The main track has returned to service on Saturday September 12,2026 at 12:01 A.M.
