On Friday, November 8, 2024, at approximately 01:46 a.m. CDT, we received a preliminary report of a train derailment near Grants, NM, which has affected both main tracks. Grants, NM is approximately 62 miles east of Gallup, NM. BNSF personnel responded and assessed the site. Main track two opened on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 18:19 p.m. CDT. Main track one opened on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 01:35 a.m. CDT.
