BNSF has reached a new five-year, collective bargaining agreement with members of the Transportation Communications Union/IAM (TCU) intermodal group, covering members at the BNSF Cicero, Corwith, Seattle, and Memphis Intermodal facilities.
BNSF’s $3.6 billion dollar capital investment plan for 2026 will help us modernize infrastructure and enhance capacity across our 32,500-mile network. A key part of that plan is a major improvement project underway in Galesburg, Illinois, a location central to BNSF operations since the 1850s.

BNSF Railway customers invested more than $5.3 billion in 2025, completing 117 rail-served projects, the highest number closed in the last six years.
